Pretty Little Notebook

Wooo-Whooo!  It's Friday.  Let me just say that I'm so ready for the weekend! Aren't you? Anyway, I'm here to show you a little book I made.  It's a small book - measures 4.25 x 5.25 inches.  So, in essence it's a card sized notebook with about 20 total sheets of paper stitched in.  I really needed a list book to jot down things I need to remember.  And of course I wanted it stylish at the same time! I've used the Crinkle Ribbon, Sunflower, from the  Harvest Bundle.   Stamped it, added a little butterfly, and an antique dry cleaning pin with a super tiny tag! The snapshot below highlights the spine where I stitched the book together. Hope that this simple project gives you a bit of inspiration! Have a great weekend!

Fashionable Tote for that Oh So Fashionable Gal

I've used a muslin bag (8x10) from 3GirlJam that I decorated with some colorful fabric.  I fancied and sewed the bottom of the bag so that it would sit flat.  I really liked that extra feature!  I will definitely be using that technique over again.  I added the jumbo eyelets and included some colorful ribbon to fashion it as a little purse.  A sturdy little purse that would endure an outdoor adventure! I've donned it front and ...
