Wondering

We didn't get into Mutter's because the gal at the front desk noticed my lil guy covertly stashed in his carrier (that is shaped as a purse).  Bummer.

So we wondered the streets in the shopping district until dinner time.

We had dinner at Tinto.  Highly recommended.

And no, they didn't notice Oliver tucked away in his bag.  He even sampled some delicious tapas now and again, but I think he'd pass on another similar adventure, because:

(1) He was cold walking about, even shivering at times.
(2) It's no fun spending so much time in a pet carrier shaped like a purse even it does mean he gets to spend the day with mum.

I don't even know what to say about my expression, but he's always adorable.  And the bag I'm carrying is his covert carrier.  We go lots of places with that bag.

At first, I wasn't able to coax Oliver without a major struggle! But then somewhere along the line he found it wasn't that bad, and was actually quite comfortable.

I'm very surprised at how smart he is. Somewhere he made the connection that he had choices between the carrier or (1) Stay at home, (2) Stay in the car, or (3) Go, Be with Mum, Go in the carrier.

And I think he trusts that I don't ask him to be trapped in it unless he needs to.

Anyway, I'm babbling.

Warm Little Sweetness

I must admit that I have become quite fond of making little bitty sweaters.   It all started on a recent trek to India traveling for business. I needed to carry just enough yarn to keep my busy bee hands occupied during the evenings in my hotel room. There are just so many hats a person can make, right?  Anyway, having limited quantities of yarn, I decided to give a small sweater a go.  This is the first one I created. I had just the perfect little buttons to add! (It really is amazing what one might find in their cosmetic bag) I love it.  This sweater is also featured on the Pinque Peacock blog   since I used her buttons.  (Go visit and see the buttons up close) This makes the sweater a really one of a kind project! This next one is perfect for a little preemie.  It's so tiny, but features a great big snowflake! Close up of the snowflake…. I also sewed on one of the StampinUp! Frosted Finishes Embellishments.  I think it finished it off nice

Halloween Scrapbooking Sheets

I created these this morning....just in time for making a few treats before the spooks come calling tomorrow night! Enjoy.

Precious Boy

A quiet, misty morning walk in late March 2012. This little precious boy puts a smile on my face every time I look at him. I mean, really, who wouldn't smile like there's no tomorrow at this little guy?  I love him.  Every. Little. Thing. He almost (ALMOST) competes with my husband. My sweet husband with a similar expression.  What do YOU think?
