Regurgitated Candy





If you ventured over here from 3GirlJam's blog, not to worry...not gonna repeat myself too much!

I thought I would share the instructions so that you can easily create the above silly treat I've made for Halloween next month!

The overall dimensions (Finished) is 4.5 x 3 x 1 inches.

Following is a diagram for creating the box:





Instructions:
(1) Cut your black cardstock to a size of 6 x 8.5 inches.
(2) Score it where indicated (along the 8.5" side) at 1, 4, 6, and 8 inches.
(3) Score it where indicated (along the 6" side) at 1 and 5.5 inches.
(4) Cut where indicated by the solid lines.  Some of the cutting will cut away the areas indicated by the hatch marks.
(5) Fold it along the score lines and examine it until you understand how to glue it together.
(6) Glue or use super sticky double sided tape (I use Sobo glue or Sookwang tape).
(7) Embellish until you are just super pleased with yourself!
(8) Fill with yummy chocolate (or stuff your cat gave you back!!!!)
(9) Fold and adhere the top flap.
(10) Pat yourself on the back!
Products I Used:
(1) Cardstock and designer series paper {Basic Black and Howlstooth and Scaring Bone DSP} is Stampin Up!
(2) Crinkle Ribbon is from 3Girl Jam {Harvest Bundle}
(3) Button is frin 3Girl Jam {Vintage buttons} I painted the button with some bronze under paint I had from some leafing materials.
(4) Black and White twine
(5) The punch for the "Regurgitated Candy" label is from Stampin Up!
(6) The skeleton stamp is a PSX stamp I've had over 15 years! {1997}
(7) The "Regurgitated Candy" stamp is from Waltzing Mouse {Wanda's Pantry}
(8) Oh, and do you see the burlap banner!  This burlap ribbon is GOING to be available beginning Oct 1 from 3Girl Jam!

Unity Blog Hop

My project today is a little mini album I put together to give to my daughter, who is exploring the possibility of traveling across America from Washington State to Delaware in July. I wanted to give her something to log and journal her adventures! I used stamps from Unity Stamp Company's June and November Kits of the Month for the cover. Inside the cover, I put a little note. She plans to hitch hike which is extremely bothersome to me. I want her to be safe! Maybe I'll suggest flying out and renting a car and doing a rode trip with her!
