Warm Little Sweetness

I must admit that I have become quite fond of making little bitty sweaters.

It all started on a recent trek to India traveling for business.

I needed to carry just enough yarn to keep my busy bee hands occupied during the evenings in my hotel room.

There are just so many hats a person can make, right?  Anyway, having limited quantities of yarn, I decided to give a small sweater a go.

This is the first one I created. I had just the perfect little buttons to add! (It really is amazing what one might find in their cosmetic bag)

I love it.  This sweater is also featured on the Pinque Peacock blog since I used her buttons.  (Go visit and see the buttons up close) This makes the sweater a really one of a kind project!

This next one is perfect for a little preemie.  It's so tiny, but features a great big snowflake!

Close up of the snowflake….

I also sewed on one of the StampinUp! Frosted Finishes Embellishments.  I think it finished it off nicely, don't you?

Now…to find little tykes to put these on!  My cats are truly unwilling volunteers!

You are blowing my mind with these teeny creations!! Love both sweaters, Rebecca…how darling! Still wishing I had one in a plus size! :-) So happy to see your blog in action, I've missed ya!
these sweaters are just super cute. What a great way to pass your time away in a motel room. I can not longer crochet or knit, seeing your projects make me really miss it.

Baker John

Totally scrumptious, this bread. John is home from college right now and in-between hours of aimless gaming, he must be thinking of good food. He trolled my cookbook case and pulled a very old Italian bread cookbook out and VOILA....filled our house with the wonderful aroma of rosemary. His first loaf.

On the Mend

This card is for my friend who is on the mend (the one who survived the motorcycle accident).  She has amazed everyone with her recovery, even the hospital staff.  What she has yet to overcome is just the time involved in patching herself back together. I thought this would be a good card for her and hope it puts a smile on her face.  She probably feels alot like this mummy right now, because I bet there aren't many areas on her not covered with bandages and casts. The sentiment I used is from a StampinUp! set from the 2011-2012 catalog.  (I just got these yesterday).  It has 4 stamps, all with this swirly, vintage feel [Thank You, Happy Birthday, Celebrate Today, and Get Well].

Precious Boy

A quiet, misty morning walk in late March 2012. This little precious boy puts a smile on my face every time I look at him. I mean, really, who wouldn't smile like there's no tomorrow at this little guy?  I love him.  Every. Little. Thing. He almost (ALMOST) competes with my husband. My sweet husband with a similar expression.  What do YOU think?
