Snowy Fun

I did this for a swap that's due soon, but not really soon enough for anyone to use for Christmas. Thus, the "Missing You" sentiment.

I'm probably going to make more of these for some of my Christmas cards...using a Christmas greeting instead.

Several people are coming over next weekend to make cards. This is probably one that we'll do. I think they'd really like the technique that was used on the background.

The background is made with the an embossing folder - embossing wax paper instead of paper to create a design. Then the wax paper is ironed onto the paper to create a resist when inked with a brayer. Cool, eh? The technique was the basis for the swap. I hadn't really done this technique before, so it was fun.

Now...to come up with about 5 more designs that can be done quickly. Gotta get my greeting cards in the mail ... soon!

LOVE that card! (We just got our first rain of the year and it just seem so frosty and appropriate for me this morning!) I want to try that technique- it's so lovely.

OMGosh! Now I'm just itching to go home and break in this stamp! You colored it so beautifully, and I love the emboss resist background. Amazing!

For You My Friend

Dang is it ever hot, right?
Well, I spend some time crafting indoors close to the air conditioner vents.
And this little box is what I came up with.  Along with the gift inside!

Decorated and the final touch...that wonderful Pinque Peacock Stick Pin.

It matched PERFECTLY.
Anyway, hope you like it.
My friend did (and she didn't assault the box when I gave it to her!)
Have a super Saturday.
Drink lots of water....cuz if you spend anytime outdoors, it just evaporates right out of you!

Spooky Eyeballs

Hello, everyone.  Over the weekend, I made this 12 x 12 inch printable page.  I will add another version later this week, that will have smaller and more numerous eyeballs!

To save at the original version size, click on the image and then click again to zoom in.  Then you can save and print it!

Halloween Scrapbooking Sheets

I created these this morning....just in time for making a few treats before the spooks come calling tomorrow night!
Enjoy.
