EAT...Chocolate

More inspiration from the {ippity} release!  What a fun, quick project this was.  I wrapped a Cadbury Fruit and Nut bar with designer paper, adhered with glue, and then crimped the ends down to meet the bar.  Easy peasy...and this is such a fun way to decorate treats for a party, etc...so that they all match.

This is also in celebration of my friend, Ginny's birthday.  I'm not sure her age, but SHE'S OLDER THAN ME and that's all that matters!

This SWEET peak is another Ippity Itty Bitty that will be available on Thursday evening 7 PM!

Oliver did so well in agility.  I don't have any pictures but he was the only little obedient dog.  He was really the only little dog there.  He is so stinking cute when he's sitting there waiting.

Especially when I have Puperoni and boiled chicken in my hand as rewards.  He knows exactly what's going on when I hold that stuff.

Here's his look up at me when I was holding a new weepy little Layla in my lap!  So sweet.  He wasn't jealous, but did want to make sure that I played with him while holding her (see his flea...he likes me to throw it or run with it while he chases me.)

And here's Layla helping me stay on top of things during the release party.

Those are some ears, eh?  She's a sweety...just needs time to adjust to her new home.

Such a fabulous way to dress up a chocolate bar....the downside is that you have to destroy the wrapping to eat it and it takes longer to break into the chocolate.....lol. Your puppies are just adorable, such sweet faces.

Inspirational Unity Blog Hop

I have three huge passions related to art: photography, jewelry making, and paper crafts. Above combines two of those passions: jewelry making and paper crafts. The necklace featured is a gift for a friend. I used Unity Stamp Company stamps in all the projects shown in the picture above. If you look closely, you'll even see that I used the Hawaiian Border and the swirls in the lambs fleece of Love Ewe to make the bronze charms in the jewelry above! Besides the stamps used, other materials included Bronz Clay, antiqued bronze findings, and various beads. Of course, what gift isn't complete without packaging? You can find the tutorial for the bag Here . Paper and cardstock, punches, and ribbon used are from Stampin Up! while the stamp used is from Unity's March Kit of the Month . People who know me know how I strive to use humor everyday...and especially to make light of otherwise stressful situations. So, my quote for the day has absolutely nothing to do with my project. Unity Blog Hop

My project today is a little mini album I put together to give to my daughter, who is exploring the possibility of traveling across America from Washington State to Delaware in July. I wanted to give her something to log and journal her adventures! I used stamps from Unity Stamp Company's June and November Kits of the Month for the cover. Inside the cover, I put a little note. She plans to hitch hike which is extremely bothersome to me. I want her to be safe! Maybe I'll suggest flying out and renting a car and doing a rode trip with her! That would curb my fears and will also be fun! The journal block comes from their September Kit . Unity Stamp Company is featuring a sale on their previous Kits! This is the time to get them if you don't have ENOUGH! See their sales here: Sales at Unity The inside pages were not made with a KOM stamp, but this stamp is cool all the same. I love this flower . It's big and has many uses! To start at the beginning of the blog hop, ...
