Seulement Pour Vous, Mon Ami

Oui Oui!

Miracles of miracles, my husband did not wake me for our shower until almost 7 AM, so my late night art explosion did not result in the exhaustion I was predicting.

The above I finished at lunch today. I got almost everything ready (except the punching for the lacy border) and threw everything in my art travel kit before rushing out the door for work. It was such a nice day outside - I sat at a picnic table in a shady area outside our building and enjoyed the antics of the birds while I put all the cards together to complete my responsibilities for Jessica's swap.

And, this card uses a layout I did last week HERE. So, that means I'm making progress on the gazillion!

Anyway, enough about that. Did you catch the title "Seulement"...isn't that an exquisite word? It means Only , Just, Merely...and my favoriate...Solely

Doesn't that make it sound private, isolated, and focused? Can you imagine someone whispering that word to you!

Warm Little Sweetness

I must admit that I have become quite fond of making little bitty sweaters.   It all started on a recent trek to India traveling for business. I needed to carry just enough yarn to keep my busy bee hands occupied during the evenings in my hotel room. There are just so many hats a person can make, right?  Anyway, having limited quantities of yarn, I decided to give a small sweater a go.  This is the first one I created. I had just the perfect little buttons to add! (It really is amazing what one might find in their cosmetic bag) I love it.  This sweater is also featured on the Pinque Peacock blog   since I used her buttons.  (Go visit and see the buttons up close) This makes the sweater a really one of a kind project! This next one is perfect for a little preemie.  It's so tiny, but features a great big snowflake! Close up of the snowflake…. I also sewed on one of the StampinUp! Frosted Finishes Embellishments.  I think it finished it off nice

Halloween Scrapbooking Sheets

I created these this morning....just in time for making a few treats before the spooks come calling tomorrow night! Enjoy.

Precious Boy

A quiet, misty morning walk in late March 2012. This little precious boy puts a smile on my face every time I look at him. I mean, really, who wouldn't smile like there's no tomorrow at this little guy?  I love him.  Every. Little. Thing. He almost (ALMOST) competes with my husband. My sweet husband with a similar expression.  What do YOU think?
