Dream to Be

It's that time of year again.  All the new grads out there, happy to be done with school (most of all), while also thinking of the future and dreaming about all the possibilities.

I remember.  High School graduation AND my college graduation.

Dreams.  All of them.

And that is what this card is all about.  We have several family members graduating this year...one of which is my DAUGHTER.  She has graduated from college!  I'm so proud of her.  If you didn't see a recent picture, here she is again!  Isn't she beautiful?!

Dream to Be

You can see all the new {ippity} sets being released tonight! NOW.  YAY.  I love this time every month.  New rubber is always a good thing.

Stocking up at a discount is ALSO always a good thing!

Okay, enough said...Time to head on over to Noelle's blog and see what she has going on!  I'm sure she'll have something lovely to share with you...and also bring a wonderful smile to your face at the same time.  She always makes me smile!

Hi again Rebecca! I couldn't find an email address for you to correspond directly, so I decided to comment here. Thank you so much for your supportive comment on my blog post about my daughter's possible exposure to Lyme disease! How horrible that both you and your husband have had it. Our pediatrician is being soooooooo vigilant for us, and we're so grateful. She even warned us that if she tests positive, it would be best if she could take the meds in pill form because the liquid form tastes absolutely horrible. She's never had to take pills before, so that gives us four weeks to start practicing with TicTacs. That will save us so much trauma later!!

And yes, my daughter LOVES Girl Scouts! She started as a Daisy Scout in Kindergarten and has been in GS ever since, and she just (today!) finished 7th grade. No signs of losing interest yet! She loves her troop's camping trips and activities, and I love seeing her so gung-ho. So many great life skills!

Thanks SO much for stopping by!

Warm Little Sweetness

I must admit that I have become quite fond of making little bitty sweaters.   It all started on a recent trek to India traveling for business. I needed to carry just enough yarn to keep my busy bee hands occupied during the evenings in my hotel room. There are just so many hats a person can make, right?  Anyway, having limited quantities of yarn, I decided to give a small sweater a go.  This is the first one I created. I had just the perfect little buttons to add! (It really is amazing what one might find in their cosmetic bag) I love it.  This sweater is also featured on the Pinque Peacock blog   since I used her buttons.  (Go visit and see the buttons up close) This makes the sweater a really one of a kind project! This next one is perfect for a little preemie.  It's so tiny, but features a great big snowflake! Close up of the snowflake…. I also sewed on one of the StampinUp! Frosted Finishes Embellishments.  I think it finished it off nice
