2010 Calendar Swap

I hosted a swap to create a calendar for 2010, with each calendar page measuring 4.25 x 8.5. The above slideshow represents the contributions and my calendar for next year.

I still haven't decided where it will go...I have a spot above my craft table that would be perfect, but maybe I'll take it to work...my cubicle (eh...stall) could use some beauty! And this turned out to be a beautiful calendar.

Here are the contributors:

January - Gael
February - Debbie
March - Jessica
April - Kate
May - Kate
June - Karn
July - Genetta
August - Liz
September - Paola
October - Me
November - Genetta
December - Jessica

Three folks took two spots and were lucky enough to get two!

Anyway, they did a great job and I'm definitely going to do this again next year!

Everyone did such a beautiful job on their pages! What a wonderful piece of art to look at all year long. I may have to try to participate in one of those swaps next year!

Baker John

Totally scrumptious, this bread. John is home from college right now and in-between hours of aimless gaming, he must be thinking of good food. He trolled my cookbook case and pulled a very old Italian bread cookbook out and VOILA....filled our house with the wonderful aroma of rosemary. His first loaf.

On the Mend

This card is for my friend who is on the mend (the one who survived the motorcycle accident).  She has amazed everyone with her recovery, even the hospital staff.  What she has yet to overcome is just the time involved in patching herself back together. I thought this would be a good card for her and hope it puts a smile on her face.  She probably feels alot like this mummy right now, because I bet there aren't many areas on her not covered with bandages and casts. The sentiment I used is from a StampinUp! set from the 2011-2012 catalog.  (I just got these yesterday).  It has 4 stamps, all with this swirly, vintage feel [Thank You, Happy Birthday, Celebrate Today, and Get Well].

Precious Boy

A quiet, misty morning walk in late March 2012. This little precious boy puts a smile on my face every time I look at him. I mean, really, who wouldn't smile like there's no tomorrow at this little guy?  I love him.  Every. Little. Thing. He almost (ALMOST) competes with my husband. My sweet husband with a similar expression.  What do YOU think?
