Hootin' Fun


While I have much to share about the hiking adventure (working on my photos now), this card is due to Vivian in only a few short days. But, it was inspired by my recent trip!

I did some more faux wood, using this time, textured card stock. I don't think I liked the effect as much with textured card stock - so now I know...use regular card stock.

All the stamps and cardstcok in this batch are from Stampin Up!

The coloring is using my COPIC sketch markers. I'm practicing. I really enjoy using them and wished I hadn't waited so long before trying them!

Beautiful card - now you reminded me I was going to try that wood technique and forgot. (Honestly, don't get old!) Can't wait to see your hiking shots! glad you are home safe!
